Passengers on ProximaRide

At ProximaRide, ridesharing (carpooling) is not a commercial service.

Drivers are not allowed to provide door-to-door service or accommodate custom pick-up and drop-off requests. To avoid any inconvenience or awkward situations, please do not ask drivers for these exceptions. Even if a driver agrees out of kindness, it could get them in trouble if reported or caught.

Before booking, make sure to read the ride’s terms and conditions, including details about: 

     ⏺     Luggage limits

     ⏺     Pets

     ⏺     Exact pick-up and drop-off points

     ⏺     Smoking

     ⏺     Eating or drinking in the car

     ⏺     Traveling with babies or infants

... and any other specific rules set by the driver. 

We also ask that you be considerate of your fellow travelers:

     ✔     Arrive on time 

     ✔     Respect scheduled rest stops

     ✔     Maintain good personal hygiene

     ✔     Be polite and respectful

     ✔     Avoid forcing conversations

     ✔     Use headphones for music

     ✔     Keep phone calls short and discreet
